ALLY PALLY SHOW

Where do i start, well the beginning i guess...........

left home Thursday 7th oct at 7.30 am and drove to Alexander Palace for the knitting and stitching show, got through the traffic and got there for about 11 am.  got Steve a free entry as hes my carer...........

Went to the Panorama hall first and had a look around, note the coffee area, lol, said hello to the lady on the C & G stand  then looked round the west hall, so much wool where do i start, spoted a book i liked the look of , and noted it was gonna be signed by the authors................ Best Of Show, knit your own dog.............back later and get one.

there was a lot of people for first day. so many stands, right time for a coffee i got a workshop lesson at 1, gonna make a bag with a flower on it, get to keep all the stuff to make it, i did the rose the 2 leaves and 3 rows of the bag in 1 hour, was picked on cus im a tucker under knitter, lolololol, in other words i tuck the right hand needle under my armpit, aparently its a northern or european way.out of about 10 people i was one of the fastest.

right 2pm time for some dinner, sit out side on the steps and had sandwiches...........

Right now the Great Hall......................so many stalls, i started 1 end and went up and down, so much lovely wool, one stand was selling big bulk buys of wool about £14.99 a bag of 10 balls, if i had the money i would of got some, save for next year..........

i think there was about 360 ish stalls

  2. I love the meerkats too, although now my husband has seen them he expects me to knit my own instead of buying me one as a treat!
